Kita (喜多, Kita?) is a minor character in the Koe no Katachi series. She is the deaf language classroom teacher at Suimon Elementary who remains in contact with Shōko Nishimiya and her family, even after Shōko transfers schools. Kita is shown to be kind and respectful towards the students where some of her actions show that she has a great sense of confidence and optimism, seen in how she
Reject (拒絶人間, Kyozetsu Ningen?) is the fifth chapter of the Koe no Katachi manga and the final chapter of Volume 1. During the junior high entrance ceremony, Kazuki Shimada tells everyone to avoid Shōya because he’s a bully, eventually leading students who went to different elementary schools to ask if he really made a girl transfer out. Shōya admits he did, causing him to become
Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda. These are two anime films from 2015/2016 portraying school youth dealing with guilt, alienation, and most prolific — disabilities (being unable to speak and being deaf). Just finished Koe no Katachi and it was great. The story is interesting and compelling, making me read chapter after chapter. The characters were quite unique, at least they seemed like that to me, and all had proper character development. The art was nothing special, but of course looked good.
